Once the initial sign-off with the client is achieved, our process management cycle takes over. From this point, the responsibility of the project will be taken fully by the assigned project manager. Usually the Project Manager is the same one who was involved in tailoring the Project Proposal, since that makes sure that the Project Manager is in the know about the project right since its inception into Xentient. We embrace change management, and view it as an integral part of the process management cycle with the goal of having each change request handled in a manner so as to not disturb the overall time frames for the entire project.
Selecting a methodology
This involves continuous interaction with the client, since the methodology Xentient employs needs to be approved by the client. This is necessary, since the methodology determines the level of client involvement, during the project lifecycle.
The following describes our SharePoint Expert Practice methodology.

Phase 1: Investigation
Xentient Solutions will meet with your company’s key stakeholders to determine your company’s SharePoint needs. Based on your SharePoint solution technical and business requirements, a prototype site will be developed for your key stakeholders to evaluate.
Phase 2: Planning
Xentient Solutions performs a preliminary investigation to determine hardware, software and technical personnel requirements. Key deliverables, including portal wire-frame, branding, portal feature usage breakdown, solution cost and the length of the engagement are detailed during this phase.
Phase 3: Development
During this phase, the SharePoint portal architecture, infrastructure and features are designed and developed. Interoperability with other applications is ensured.
Phase 4: Implementation
Xentient Solutions’ consultants implement and configure the SharePoint production farm. Security and backup procedures are also implemented.
Phase 5: Deployment
After client feedback, the SharePoint portal is deployed in accordance with Xentient Solutions’ quality assurance standards. Xentient Solutions client reviews custom solution deliverables and signs-off.
Phase 6: Support
Technical support and maintenance, including post-deployment training, is available based on client support requirements.com
